"Construction work often results in the disappearance of a piece of nature. It is our duty to replace that in, on, or around the building."

A green environment brings happiness and health to people. However, in the areas where we, as architects, build, a piece of nature often disappears. How can we bring that back? Inside the building? On the building? Or in the surroundings? That is what fascinates me. That's where my true passion for sustainability lies.

Esther studied Architecture at TU Delft and prefers working on conceptually strong, green buildings and areas. Her fascination for green spaces has been reinforced by her work with the renowned ecological designer Ken Yeang. With a deep love for sustainability and a focus on user well-being, she works on diverse projects at LIAG.
